Refund Policy

At Lop & Luxe Rabbitry, we take pride in raising healthy, well-socialized rabbits. We want every adoption and purchase to be a positive experience. Please review our Refund Policy carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Non-Refundable Deposits
​
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a rabbit.

  • Deposits secure your chosen rabbit and are applied toward the final purchase price.

  • If you change your mind, fail to complete the purchase, or do not pick up the rabbit at the agreed time, the deposit will be forfeited.

2. Final Sale of Rabbits
​
  • All rabbit sales are considered final once the animal leaves our rabbitry.

  • We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for rabbits returned after pickup, due to the risks of disease exposure and stress to the animal.

3. Health Guarantee
​
  • Rabbits are healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale.

  • Buyers have 24 hours from pickup to have the rabbit examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the veterinarian finds a life-threatening genetic or congenital condition, we will:

    • Offer a replacement rabbit (when available), or

    • Provide a refund of the purchase price (excluding deposit), at our discretion.

  • Proof of the veterinarian’s findings is required.

  • This health guarantee does not cover injury, illness, or death due to improper care, accidents, or environmental stress once the rabbit leaves our care.

4. Gender & Show Quality
​
  • We do our best to accurately determine the sex of each rabbit, but sexing errors can occur. Refunds will not be issued for incorrect gender.

  • Unless explicitly stated, rabbits are sold as pets or breeders. We do not guarantee show quality, breeding success, or that a rabbit will not be disqualified (“DQ’d”) in shows.

5. Product Refunds (Non-Livestock Items)
​
  • Refunds for non-livestock items (such as supplies or merchandise) may be granted within 14 days of purchase if items are unused and in original condition.

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, if applicable.

6. Cancellations
​
  • If you cancel before pickup and have not paid a deposit, no charges will apply.

  • If a deposit was placed, it will not be refunded.

​
